Standard Euro cylinders have a critical weakness: they can be snapped in half using simple tools, giving a burglar access in under 30 seconds. Anti-snap cylinders solve this with engineered break points and reinforced internal mechanisms.
How Do They Work?
Anti-snap cylinders feature sacrificial cut lines near the outer edge. If force is applied to snap the cylinder, the outer section breaks away harmlessly while the inner locking mechanism stays intact and secure. The lock remains locked and the door stays shut.
